Tokens of transformation

In a world scarred by conflict, Tokens of Transformation gathers the creative voices of those who have endured the upheaval of war. This exhibition is dedicated to people whose lives have been irrevocably changed by violence and displacement—from the shattered streets of Gaza, the battered cities of Ukraine, to the devastated communities of Sudan, among others. Each artwork is a testament to survival and adaptation, capturing the profound shifts that war imposes on identity, memory, and hope. Through painting, sculpture, and mixed media, artists from conflict zones transform fragments of destruction—rubble, torn fabric, broken glass—into symbols of resilience and renewal.
